Utilities

Botetourt County operates water and sewer systems primarily in the southern portion of the County. Municipal water and sewer systems are also operated in the Glen Wilton area and a municipal sewer system is operated in the Eagle Rock area. Private water companies operate throughout the County. For information concerning accounts, billing and fees for County operations, contact the Public Works Department:

Automatic Bank Draft is now available to water and sewer customers. This pre-authorized payment plan allows utility bill payments to be automaticallly withdrawn from the customer's checking account. For details of the plan, or how to enroll, refer to the informational brochure or contact the Public Works Department.
